How we calculate the estimate
We add up the Ubiquiti UniFi equipment (gateway, switch, access points, cameras, recorder and access control), installation, cabling per point and setup. We use general design rules: for example, one access point for every two hotel rooms or for every 100 m² of floor space.
For an office we plan one access point for every eight workstations and one wired network port per workstation.
The final price depends on what we find during the site visit: cabling distances, building materials and any existing equipment that can be reused.

- Does the estimate include VAT?
- No. All figures are shown in Colombian pesos before VAT.
- How accurate is the estimate?
- It is a reference range to give you an idea of the investment. We prepare the formal quote after a free site visit, with the design and exact quantities.
- Are there yearly license fees?
- UniFi equipment does not require recurring licenses to operate. Monthly management is an optional LibreTel service: monitoring, updates and support.
